Separate configuration from code

Keep the API address and credentials outside source code. Use server environment variables and never publish a real key in a browser bundle. This demo integration uses example data only.

Define the contract before connecting

Agree with the API team on task fields, possible states and error formats. A shared contract reduces rework and avoids implicit behavior between the dashboard and service.

Plan the request lifecycle

Set timeouts for task creation and result retrieval. For asynchronous processing, poll at defined intervals with a retry limit. The application must explicitly stop waiting when the deadline expires.

Treat errors as part of the product

Invalid credentials, insufficient balance and outages need specific responses. Show useful messages and log only the information required for diagnosis, without credentials or solution tokens.

Verify before release

Test authentication errors, usage limits and unexpected responses in staging. This documentation proposes endpoint organization; the real service will be connected after that contract is defined.
